As you know, working at Télio means you see hundreds of different textiles every week, and yes, this includes prints! We love prints.
In the context of this blog, we write about trends, about current fashion events, stylistic inspirations and events in fashion history, and we try our best to link some of our textiles to these topics of conversation, but sometimes, we just want to talk about prints for prints sake!
So here are, for no other reason than their beauty, some of our favourite fun prints from the past few weeks!
Morocco Blues (style 36889)
The colours in this print made us stop in our tracks. We’ve seen a lot of prints here, but the particular hue and saturation of these colours is absolutely breathtaking. Truth be told, we wouldn’t want to wear this print, we want it on our living room walls, so we can stare at it all day long! Wow!
Monaco Print (style 36904)
We made this print in a crepe de chine a few months ago, now we have it in a knit, and for some reason it seemed appropriate to include it in this list. The Eiffel tower has always been the universal symbol of Paris, and we want to celebrate it now more than ever.
Sakura Print (style 36981)
A good border print is always fun. The bright blue and yellow in this Sakura Print is very fun and we love the stripes going in all directions.
Serpent Jacquard (style 36955)
This is technically not a print, but we included it anyway. The faux mesh detail with the floral creates this delicate yet sort of edgy feeling. The grey, teal and fuschia/orange mix make it very relevant and trendy.
Dali Poplin Print (style 36975)
This print and colour scheme give off a certain Warholian vibe that we very much appreciate. It’s possible that it’s only our imagination, we tend to see pop art/Andy Warhol inspirations all over the place because we’re such fans, but we like it anyway!
Which one of these prints is your favourite? Let us know!
