As you’ve probably guessed by now, we’re big fans of tie-dye at Télio, whether it’s actual tie-dye or a tie-dye print (which we carry a lot of) we’re all over it.
We saw a lot of various kinds of tie-dye at the Spring 2016 shows, from Thomas Maier to Rachel Comey by way of Thakoon, Altuzarra, BCBG Max Azria, they all showed tie-dye in their collections.
We’re particularly fond of the way BCBG Max Azria used tie-dye as a backdrop for other prints. We’re big fans of mixing and not matching.
Tie-dye is part of those prints that go in and out of style every 5 years, but that don’t have much staying power. This time though, we’re hoping that the more subtle ways tie-dye is presented will make everyone wake up to it’s every day appeal. Tie-dye could be here to stay. Finally!
We have a collection of tie-dye prints and tie-dye inspired prints here at Télio that’s perfectly in line with what we’ve seen on the runway.
Here’s a small sample:
How do you feel about tie-dye’s new subtler iteration? Let us know!
