Long gone are the days where patchwork is reserved for those accidents on our bikes. Patchwork has gone mainstream (like it has a few times in the past).
We saw patchwork on the runway for Fall 2015 at many fashion houses, including; Tom Ford, Etro, Chloé and Burberry Prorsum, just to name a few. At Etro and Chloé, patchwork came in a variety of chunky knits and wools, Tom Ford used mainly denim for patchwork and Burberry Prorsum used patches in the shapes of flowers, for that pop of originality.
We’ve also been seeing lots of patchwork inspired accessories at numerous retail stores, like Zara, Topshop and Max Mara. Scarves, hats and patchwork shoes appear to be all the rage.
Accessories can be another way of wearing the trend, but we feel that patchwork accessories somehow attract even more attention to themselves than clothes, bizarrely. It’s all up to the wearer.
At Télio, we bypass the painstaking patchwork process and offer you patchwork prints! Our amazing Brazil Print (style 36763) comes in two colour tones and is perfectly in sync with the color schemes at Chloé!
