Here are the five top trends for Spring/Summer 2016.
Part metal, part acrylic, mixing materials is a great way to make a statement with your eye wear. That being said, be careful what you pair them with, you wouldn’t want your look to be too busy. With mixed material eye wear, opt for a classic, refined style.
The return of the round sunglasses. Needless to say, they don’t look good on everybody, but it’s worth a try. To be perfectly on trend, opt for a smaller shape, but if they look too small on your face, by all means go bigger.
When the frame only covers a portion of the glass, it makes everything look just a little bit more fragile, and therefore you miraculously look more refined. Don’t be scared to try it out!
The perfect way to let people know you do not have time for them. Reflecting the person’s own image to themselves is a statement in itself. This season, the mirrored lenses are coloured in a neutral palette, moonstone whites and different shades of blues are very popular.
Some might think that the aviator glasses were already quite sporty looking, but they’ve been taken into an even sportier direction. Sleeker, seemingly more tailored to the face and smaller than usual, the new aviators are a described as hybrids. Sport meets aviation! We’re into it!
