Under designer Christopher Bailey, Burberry has become one of the most excitingly elegant brands out there. He constantly manages to reinvent things in such a way that they remain timeless yet absolutely new and fresh. The Burberry Prorsum label is especially fashion forward and trendy.
This week we’re throwing back to the label’s Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear show. It made a big impression on us, mostly because of the scarves, but there’s a lot more to it!
How often do we see hand painted garments on the runway these days? NEVER! This show featured trench coats, dresses, scarves and bags with hand painted florals.
What made us really fall in love with the collection truly was those long scarves, paired with dresses and coats and cinched at the waist, it created a flowy and swirly look that was very dreamlike. We know this was a Fall show, but everything about it seemed to scream Spring!
The fact that Jourdan Dunn, Suki Waterhouse and Cara Delevingne walked in the show also made our hearts race.
Did you love this collection as much as we did?
