If you’re one of those people who still think Stella McCartney has a fashion label because her father is a Beatle, you are highly mistaken. Stella McCartney is a creative genius.
Her choice of colours, her simple yet complex aesthetic, her perfect proportions and the confident way she tailors her garments ensures that her collections are the perfect mix of femininity and street ready apparel that is timeless and just plain opulent.
The fact that she doesn’t use leather or fur and is a major PETA supporter can also be a big reason to choose the McCartney label, as if her amazing designs weren’t enough.
Her Pre-Fall 2014 collection was particularly enjoyable, it featured great trench coats, spicy fringe dresses, stunning houndstooth and big circle prints, classic oversized jackets and a few very enviable cocktail dresses.
We particularly love her use of beige/nude tones.
Télio’s Daria Plaid (style 34787) would come in handy to recreate the one-piece shown below, as well as several suit pieces in this collection. Her orange houndstooth garments would look great in Télio’s Harlequin Print (style 34827). This collection is absolutely timeless.
