1. Cropped Wide Leg Trousers:
While skinny jeans have been in the spotlight for a while now, we are seeing that cropped wide-leg trousers are beginning to overshadow them. Made in heavyweight woven’s like silk, sateen, bouclé, twill and shantung that keep the A – line relaxed structure. Dress them up or down for the perfect office outfit or relaxing weekend getup.
2. Flare Pant:
With the 1970’s revival going on we are seeing flared trousers becoming increasingly prevalent. Go back in time with this retro look that accentuate slender body types. Denim and cotton are seen on more casual styles and silk and wool blends seen on their more formal counterparts. Suiting and matching sets are key looks within this category, with slim to exaggerated bell-bottom hems.
3. Sailor Pant:
This look is being pushed forward from pre-fall 2015 and has a very elegent 70’s feel to it. This nautical influence sports button-front panels in large metal shank buttons. These trousers hit at the natural waste and have full and cropped wide legs extending from a fitted hip.
4. Relaxed Wide Leg Trouser:
These relaxed wide-leg trousers have an easy going feel with long lengths and a dropped crotch with an effortlessly comfortable look that can be easily dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Fluid fabrics in solid or patterned styles are paired with relaxed or fitted tops.
5. Wrap- Front Tapered Trouser:
Wrap-front styles use waist ties, D-ring closures, or asymmetric buttons in twill, silk, and broadcloth are used to achieve this look. Another laid back trend for the SS/16 season that can be dressed up or down.
