It’s about time we have a guy’s voice on this blog.
My name is Roderick; my official title is Business Development Coordinator, however I’m better known as the e-commerce guy at Télio!
My background is in visual presentation and sales, in particular high-end luxury goods and audio gadgets (think Ferragamo, Lacoste, Dunhill, Bose, etc.). In the next few months I wish to share a guy’s perspective on the current happenings of wherever I may be, and bring focus to men’s fashion, in particular urban lifestyle and street wear.
Men’s tee shirts are taking on new lengths this season. The mid-thigh to knee-length silhouettes of Rick Owens:DRKSHDW and Rochambeau can be found on most runways (S/S 2015 + A/W 2016) and spotted on dance floors in New York, London, Berlin, and even Tel-Aviv. No doubt a continuation from past summer’s trend: the major need to layer, layer and layer — even while basking under the unforgiving sun (who says fashion doesn’t make you sweat!?). The few extra inches from the lowered hem compliments any sweat shirt or button down top; the uncovered tails evokes a sense of laisse-faire casualness — just right for all occasions. Currently the oversized or extra-long tees can be found at retailers such as Topman, ASOS and UrbanOutfitters. However if you’re skilled enough to produce your own, here’s a few Telio choices that will help you make the perfect SELL-OUT tee!
What are your favourite ways to wear an oversized tee?
